More information about the tank t25 pilot number 1. Selection of equipment, consumables and crew perks

Hello everyone and welcome to the site! Today we will talk about a new premium car, which may appear in our favorite game in the near future. We are talking about an American medium tank located on the eighth level - this is T25 Pilot Number 1 guide.

It is noteworthy that this unit is very similar in appearance to its younger brother - but, of course, it has completely different characteristics, although there are small similarities. It's also worth knowing that T 25 Pilot Number 1 tank It’s not preferential and you’ll have to fight against dozens on it, and now you’ll find out how comfortable the battles will be at this premium.

TTX T25 Pilot Number 1

First of all, I note that we have the usual safety margin for a car of this level and nation, as well as a very good basic visibility of 390 meters, like most Americans.

If you look at T 25 Pilot Number 1 specifications armor, there is a noticeable parallel with the T23E3, we have no armor at all. We are vulnerable from any side, both the tower and the hull are equally soft, so everyone we meet will penetrate us. The only exceptions will be occasional unsuccessful shots from the smallest guns, and perhaps our gun mantlet will sometimes hold something, because this element in the tank is always unpredictable.

Things are better with mobility. T25 Pilot 1 World of Tanks endowed with good maximum speed forward and backward, but the engine power is slightly too low, which does not promise the best dynamics. However, there is one nuance here - good maneuverability, thanks to which this unit will still move very vigorously and with good maneuverability, it will even be able to spin particularly clumsy opponents.

gun

Now let's turn our attention to the most important part of any tank - its weapons, and I want to say right away that in our case everything is very good. Well, you won’t surprise anyone with an alphastrike, many level eight premiums have exactly the same one, but armor penetration T 25 Pilot Number 1 gun They gave us a pretty good one, which will allow us to farm and not feel deprived without gold shells.

Our gun has a good rate of fire, which allows it to inflict approximately 1850 damage per minute, and this does not take into account equipment and crew perks, a decent result.

In terms of accuracy American tank T 25 1 WoT It’s also pleasantly surprising, because our dispersion is small, the gun is aimed quickly, and good stabilization only reinforces these characteristics. By the way, the gun has comfortable vertical aiming angles (-10 and +25), which is good news.

Advantages and disadvantages

So, the most important parameters have been considered and taking into account T 25 Pilot Number 1 TTX We can sum up the first result by highlighting the main strengths and weaknesses of the machine:

Pros:
Good mobility;
Decent armor penetration;
Not bad damage per minute;
Good accuracy and excellent stabilization;
High review rates.

Minuses:
Lack of armor;
Large silhouette;
Weak one-time damage;
Not a preferential level of fighting.

Equipment for T 25 Pilot Number 1

Considering all of the above, a reasonable solution would be to highlight our strengths and, if possible, correct our shortcomings, of which there are few. Thus, on T 25 Pilot Number 1 equipment the following is put:
1. – allows you to increase the rate of fire and damage per minute, which may be more important.
2. – we already have good accuracy and stabilization, it wouldn’t hurt to improve these parameters.
3. is a great way to increase an already good overview of mobile equipment, the choice is obvious.

A good alternative to the last point, especially if you have a pumped-up crew, would be, which will boost very important parameters and make us an even more dangerous enemy.

Crew training

Regarding leveling up the crew, we will act quite standardly, giving preference to the usual skills. For this unit, it is important to increase survivability, make your stay in battle more comfortable, and do not forget about increasing the camouflage coefficient, so T 25 Pilot Number 1 perks distribute in the following order:
Commander - , , , .
Gunner – , , , .
Driver mechanic - , , , .
Radio operator - , , , .
Loader – , , , .

Equipment for T 25 Pilot Number 1

Another standard in this case is the choice of consumables for this tank. If your goal is to farm silver and maximum savings are important, it is better to take , and . However, we advise you to carry T 25 Pilot Number 1 equipment premium, because it significantly increases survivability in battle, and the fire extinguisher can always be replaced with.

Tactics for playing T 25 Pilot Number 1

Of course, in order to realize the potential of this vehicle, it is always necessary to remember its strengths and weaknesses, especially the lack of armor.

Thus, on T 25 Pilot Number 1 tactics fighting is more about sticking to the second line and maintaining your margin of safety. It is very important for us to take the right and advantageous position, from where a good cross will open, and we ourselves will be safe.

T 25 Pilot Number 1 WoT feels great when playing from the tower, which is helped by excellent vertical aiming angles. By sticking your turret out slightly, taking a shot and moving back, hiding behind a hill or other cover, you minimize the chance of being hit, just remember about artillery.

Get closer to the enemy American tank T 25 Pilot Number 1 It shouldn’t, because in most cases it’s certain death for us. It’s better to always distance yourself, use good accuracy and good armor penetration, stand in close quarters, shine as little as possible, not forgetting to implement your DPM.

The only exceptions are those cases when the enemy has little HP left or you are confident that using the advantages in mobility and gun stabilization, T 25 Pilot 1 tank World of Tanks in your hands will be able to spin a clumsy opponent.

Otherwise, we are a good support tank, capable of quickly changing flanks and attack directions, returning to stop a base being captured, etc. Let's master all these simple tips and learn to analyze the situation in battle, this unit is capable of a lot. So T 25 Pilot Number 1 is worth taking, especially since it is a good machine for farming silver credits.

On March 12, 2017, WG announced a new marathon promotion for a premium Tier 8 tank for the US branch.

If you take Patton, SuperPershing and Pilot side by side, there won’t be much difference. But still it is there. Since the article is devoted to Pilot No. 1, we will consider its discrepancies. They all have the same damage per shot = 240. However, the rate of fire is higher for the Pilot, although not by much. However, the accuracy and aiming time make us look more positively at the new tank. The tank's aim = 2 seconds versus 2.3 and 2.5 seconds for the good old Korean and the medium heavyweight Persha. The reduction, although not by much, is still greater, by 0.02 seconds. However, the engine power of the new product is average between Pershing and Patton. Well, his health is slightly less than that of Persha, only 1450 units.

Comparison of the characteristics of the T25 Pilot Nubmer 1 with the T26E4 SuperPershing and M46 Patton KR (picture clickable).

What equipment should be mounted on the tank? Depends on what you want to make from it. Personally, I installed a gun rammer on it for a higher rate of fire, improved ventilation for the general improvement of the crew’s skills, coated optics for improved visibility, and a pumped-up crew from the Super Pershing. The result was a fast, luminous tank with maximum visibility and good shooting range. However, do not forget that the Pilot does not have armor like the Pershing, so do not rush into a frontal attack on a herd of opponents!

Tankers!

From March 12, 9:00 (Moscow time) to March 27, 9:00 (Moscow time), the game will host a series of 15 daily combat missions. Complete any 13 of them and receive the Tier VIII American premium medium tank T25 Pilot Number 1 as a reward!

Despite the fact that the promotion is still ongoing, some people already have the tank in the hangar. And the first replays of battles on the Pilot appeared.

How does a tank farm? See for yourself:

http://wotreplays.ru/site/9862249 replay only, draw, +169.209 silver (with premium)

http://wotreplays.ru/site/9859300 replay + video, defeat, +150.779 silver (with premium)

Hello, tankers!

A well-known saying goes: don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Today we will still look the horse in the mouth, but not the horse, but the dark horse, which Wargaming, the developer and publisher of the game gave it away for free for completing all the conditions of daily combat missions for two weeks. As you can already understand, we will talk about the premium US ST - T25 Pilot Number 1!

Historical reference

In the fall of 1942, upon completion of work on the T20 series of tanks, the US Army command put forward a requirement to develop a 90 mm gun for installation on tanks of this series. The first prototype of the new gun was successfully manufactured and already in 1943 installed on the experimental T23 tank. Then, at the beginning of 1943, the military ordered a batch of 50 new tanks with a 90 mm gun, 40 of which had fairly light armor (T25), and the remaining 10 had medium armor (T26). Based on the results of field tests, the commission identified shortcomings in the design of the machines, and it was decided to abandon their production.

Subsequently, developments on the T25 were used in the development of the T25E1. The T25 was not mass produced and was not in service.

Analysis of tank performance characteristics

Let's discuss what awaits you on the battlefield.

Armor protection. The tank has no armor. You need to come to terms with this. It is not even in comparison with other American STs. Seriously, 76 mm in the forehead is the thickest place. Nothing to brag about. Occasionally the gun mantlet can knock something off, but very rarely. From the forehead - 76 mm in the hull, 76 mm in the turret. The sides are even smaller - 50.8 mm in the hull and 63.5 mm in the turret. From the stern - 38.1 mm hull, 63.5 mm - turret. Even some land mines hit us with full damage. This is not the best news, since we do not have a preferential level of battles. Sometimes we will meet with “tens”, and such meetings do not bode well.

The tank has 1450 hit points. Quite a good result, almost like the TT.

Firepower. Our “pilot” is equipped with an excellent weapon for his level - the 90 mm Gun T7. One-time damage, as you probably already guessed, is 240 units. Why great? Because in return for armor and mobility, we were generously given stabilization, and this is one of the key characteristics of any weapon, responsible for the comfort of firing. Shoot without aiming, on the move, jerking, turning sharply, stopping abruptly - the “Pilot” allows us to do all this, which cannot be said about other tanks. But still, “stub” is the only thing we have.

The main type of ammunition for the gun is AP shells with a penetration of 192 mm. It doesn’t seem like much, but believe me, there is still a fine line between 170/175 mm and 183/192 mm of penetration. 192 is the lower threshold from which relatively comfortable numbers begin. As a last resort, we have gold BP shells with a penetration of 243 mm, and these are completely different numbers. With such a breakdown, you can even hit tanks a level or two higher. Not without reservations, of course, but still. The range of shells also includes land mines, their performance is 45 mm of armor penetration and 320 damage per shot. As you can see, they are useless.

The accuracy of the gun is 0.36/0.32 m at 100 m (100% crew/100% crew + perks + equipment), aiming time is 2/1.76 s according to the same scheme. The tank recharges in 7.8/6.14 s.

UVN are traditionally American. US technology has always been famous for this parameter: -10° down and 20° up. Often it is this parameter that saves you from enemy fire and plays a major role in skirmishes from the terrain.

Dynamics. The T25 Pilot's mobility remains at an acceptable level. For ST, I would, of course, like more, but it is what it is. Engine Ford GAN No. 17 with a power of 500 hp. accelerates the tank to 55 km/h forward, while having 13.39 hp/t. The reverse speed will be 20 km/h, which is quite good. Due to its dynamic performance, the “pilot” accelerates to the declared “maximum speed” only from the mountain and with a tailwind. In normal life, its speed ranges from 40 to 45 km/h. The tank's agility is 43°/s.

Detection. Overview is another strength of US technology. Our copy didn't disappoint either. 390 m - the result is on par. Having trained the crew a little and strengthened the machine with equipment, we easily get 410-415 m.

The tank has camouflage, but I still don’t recommend relying on it, since it tends to fail exactly at the moment when it is most needed.

Selection of equipment, consumables and crew perks

Upgrading the crew. If you already have a US CT, then there will be no problems. If you decide to upgrade your crew from scratch, then here are the perks for comprehensive performance improvement:

  • Commander:“Light Bulb”, “Repair”, “Brotherhood”, “Jack of All Trades”
  • Gunner:“Repair”, “Smooth turn of the tower”, “Combat brotherhood”, “Master gunsmith”
  • Mechanical drive:“Repair”, “Smooth ride”, “Combat brotherhood”, “King of off-road”
  • Radio operator:“Repair”, “Radio interception”, “Combat brotherhood”, “Fire fighting” (the radio operator no longer has any useful perks, and he disappears already at level IX after leveling up M46)
  • Charging:“Repair”, “Non-contact ammo rack”, “Brotherhood”, “Desperado”

Equipment selection. T25 Pilot is the most real tank of the second, third, fifth line. We will assemble the equipment for shooting, because this is what our little one is best capable of:

Support play style:“Raiser”, “Stabilizer”, “Fan”. This set is equally good for most vehicles and improves their fire performance. You can replace “Fan” with “Optics” and get an additional increase in visibility. This option also exists. You will see better and further, which is especially useful in high-level fights.

Choice of shells. The ammunition load consists of 50 shells. Collect them to your taste. I've sketched out a couple of options for the top and bottom of the list:

Shell setup for playing in random (BB/BP/OF):

  • "Support tank at the top" - 40/10/0
  • "Support tank at the bottom of the list" - 35/15/0

Selection of equipment. Equipment in most cases is standard - repair kit, first aid kit And car fire extinguisher. I won’t mention “cola” in order to avoid fires in your chairs.

At its core, the “Pilot” is a ST, and it plays as a semi-PT/half-ST, like any tank without armor. Like the same AMX CDC and any of the American premiums. That is, you must diligently avoid getting into the enemy's field of view. You can be on the second/third/whatever line of battle, but only unnoticed. It’s worth putting aside all attempts to play aggressively - this is the shortest road to the hangar. You can't relax even in Tier VI battles, that's how serious it is. Because the same KV-2 or the new heavy “Japanese” can ignite the stern with an accurate hit. And if you consider that the “Japanese” have howitzers along the entire length of the branch, then it becomes a little uneasy.

Any Tier VI tank can put a hole in you. Important: when starting to ride a pilot, stop relying on armor. Rely only on your knowledge and skills. Another warning - our ammunition rack often flies out.

Carefully monitor the mini-map and the state of affairs on the battlefield. If you see that your flank has been destroyed, run from there; if your allies are in trouble, help. It happens that almost your entire team is gathered on one side of the map, but there is no one on the other. Don't let this happen. If you stand somewhere in the bushes near an important point or behind your allies and simply indicate your presence, for example with a shot, then the desire to attack you will decrease, and your allies will be grateful that they are covered.

The main trump card of the tank is stabilization. When playing as a UVN, you can take advantage of this and distribute damage with impunity. But it is important that there is an ally next to you who, if something happens, will support you or at least not allow you to fire at you. During the “Pilot”, it is important to learn how to tank with your allies, that is, while your opponent is shooting at your teammates, you should not stand and watch, but should trade them wisely. To shoot, the enemy will have to come out of cover or expose himself to your fire. This is how you should play - from a distance, from helping your allies. If the final phase of the battle has arrived, when you need to go and simply finish off the enemies, then you can already emerge from the darkness. The main thing is that you have enough HP to exchange.

Be aware of missing armor, watch out for artillery and tanks with high explosives, and keep an eye on the mini-map. Then, quite possibly, “Pilot” will bring you some satisfaction. But it is not exactly.

Review of the advantages and disadvantages of the tank. Results

Advantages:

  • excellent gun stabilization;
  • sometimes we tank with a mask;
  • excellent UVN;
  • acceptable dynamics;
  • good damage per minute;

Flaws:

  • weak hull armor;
  • armor penetration is not enough for its level;
  • mediocre dynamics;
  • The ammunition rack often flies out.

Well, we have once again confirmed the hypothesis that free is never good. Not everything is so bad, but you need to understand that bending sticks are not just handed out. Yes, in principle, the tank is not bad. As a free premium, some people will quite like it, but you shouldn’t expect anything special. This is the most common representative of premium US STs, and that says it all. Its only bright advantage still needs to be realized, but there are many more disadvantages for the average player. Therefore, I am sure that it is not worth considering him as an every day farmer. Yes, it's a nice gift, but nothing more. The owners can be proud - I don't think they'll ever get their hands on one again.

Good luck on the battlefields!
